GIAF23 offers a ‘STAY Program’ at Wolhwa STAY, located in Noam-dong, where visitors can experience the local atmosphere while staying in Gangneung. Wolhwa STAY, previously an unused residence of local residents, is now reborn as a guest house for travelers. It is operated and managed by the Gangneung-si Urban Regeneration Support Center.

In Seo-Yu-Rok, Kim writes at the end of the book about her hope that someone would carry on the journey. GIAF23 would like to shine a light on the magic of storytelling, the potentiality of a new story like Kim’s written by the individuals that visit Gangneung. Participants will be selected based on the stories they share. They will get to stay at Wolhwa STAY for a day, fully immersing themselves in the city and sharing the warmth of their experiences with others.
